Adult Rowing

East Bay Rowing loves Adult Rowing and seeing our rowers enjoy the beautiful East Bay of Rhode Island. We offer beginner to advanced classes and rowing options for adults and some team options for adults. Adult Rowing – Winter

In the winter EBR rowers head indoors to train on the ergometers (ergs). The erg is a fantastic machine that works every part of your body with no impact. You WILL get a great workout. EBR’s Indoor facility is located at 84 Cutler Street Warren RI.

Adults get to have all the fun this winter with a pass for all adult classes for one price, 19 weeks of fun and fitness for $200! The program runs from Dec 5th through April 19th.
Open Gym Hours: 6am until 8:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Come and do the set workout, coaches will be on hand to assist during these hours.
Formal Classes: Tues/Thurs 8:45-9:45am, Tues/Thurs 7:00-8:00pm and Sat 7:30-8:30am
Cost for the full winter: $200

Adult Rowing – Spring

Adults: Learn to row in a zephyr rowing shell! Zephyr’s are very stable singles, you will row on your own. This class will teach you the basics of the rowing stroke. The language and mechanics of rowing will be taught. Class size limited to 5 rowers. Spring Registration will open January 2, 2017

 

Adult Rowing – Summer

Registration is currently closed.

  • Sweeps (team rowing in pair, four or eights): Row with your friends in the same boat with you!
  • Singles: Row your own boat from zephyr to racing single

 

Adult Rowing – Fall

Adults: Learn to row in a zephyr rowing shell! Zephyr’s are very stable singles, you will row on your own. This class will teach you the basics of the rowing stroke. The language and mechanics of rowing will be taught. Class size limited to 5 rowers. Registration is currently closed.
