Junior Fall Competitive

2017 Fall Junior Competitive Team

Fall Competitive Team is for rowers, from 13 to high school seniors, who want to compete in regattas against other rowing teams. East Bay Rowing is proud to field multiple boats of 2, 4, and 8 in our green and blue. We will seat novice teams, rowers who are in their first year of competition, as well as junior varsity and varsity boats. This is a competitive racing team and our rowers will participate in up to 5 races throughout the fall.  Races will require travel and occur on the weekends.  This program is treated as a highly committed and competitive program and attendance at practices is required. If you have questions contact Deb@eastbayrowing.com.

**You must have prior zephyr experience AND a recommendation from your previous coach to sign up for this program.

Participants will water launch their shells which means they will enter the water to their knees to launch as we do not have a dock. Safety of our rowers is first and foremost. Weather conditions in the spring are quite variable and it is the coaches decision to be on the water. We will meet indoors at our facility in Warren if the conditions are not favorable.
